Who We Are
Digital Empowerment Foundation with its Samarth SoochnaPreneur initiative gives a platform for individuals with disabilities to start their entrepreneurial journey. We are dedicated to equipping differently abled individuals with the tools and resources needed to empower their communities through information and technology. Who is a Samarth SoochnaPreneur?
Samarth SoochnaPreneurs are individuals with disabilities, who act as information agents and cater to the community’s digital needs through their digitally equipped centers. They bridge the digital divide between urban and rural regions by providing digital services in communities where people don’t have access or awareness of digital literacy and government welfare schemes.

How You Can Get Involved
As a Samarth SoochnaPreneur, you’ll be at the forefront of digital entrepreneurship in your area. From providing essential digital services and information on entitlements to connecting community members with government services and employment opportunities, your role will be to connect with the communities, provide digital services through the assets which will be provided to you, and further understand the needs of the communities as well, and design your initiative accordingly.

Who Can Apply
The Samarth SoochnaPreneur program is open to individuals above 18 years of age who have a locomotor disability of up to 40%. Applicants should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for community development through digital empowerment, and a commitment to empowering themselves and others, irrespective of their background or formal education. Familiarity with digital tools, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt are preferred. Preference may be given to applicants residing in rural or semi-urban areas with limited access to digital services.
